Work
AI implementation. A security and infrastructure foundation.
I build the layer between a capable model and a system people can actually use.
My background is in IT operations, SOC/NOC work, security engineering, infrastructure, and consulting. I came into software laterally. I learned to connect AI tools to real workflows and build the context, evaluation, and permission boundaries around them.
I'm seeking a full-time AI implementation or technical solutions role. I bring the operating habits that matter after the demo: scoping access, testing the result, documenting the handoff, and staying with a system when it fails.
For professional correspondence and matching: Jack A. Gonzalez.
1Selected work
The problem, the decisions, and what the evidence supports. Each case names its scope; client systems and private code stay private.
What should an agent be allowed to reach?
A review of my own MCP tooling: which capabilities were active, where data could go, and what should remain disabled. The case separates the control design from enforcement that has not been demonstrated.
Read forTrust boundaries, permission scope and honest security claims.
Green checks. An incomplete inventory.
The automation passed local checks while discovery missed part of the environment. The repair connected inventory coverage, service checks and timestamped evidence. Corrected and resubmitted; no final grade claimed.
Read forRoot-cause diagnosis and verification beyond the happy path.
A personal site with fewer moving parts.
Static pages, self-hosted assets, a restrictive browser policy and a separate editorial workspace. An implementation you can inspect without access to private systems.
Read forTechnical tradeoffs, privacy boundaries and reproducible checks.
2Capabilities
- AI implementation
- Context design, tool boundaries, agent workflows, evaluation, and recovery. The implementation focus builds on security and infrastructure experience; it is not a claim of a previous AI engineering job title.
- Security and identity
- Risk assessment, control design, incident response, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID. Permissions and information flow come before additional access.
- Infrastructure and automation
- Windows Server, virtualization, networks, endpoint management and PowerShell. Python work extends the automation foundation into software development.
- Operational handoff
- Policies, SOPs, runbooks and repeatable verification. A fix should remain usable when someone else has to operate it.
3Experience
- June 2025 to June 2026
The Privacy Office
Principal Information Security Consultant
Built and ran an independent information-security consulting practice. Performed risk assessments and control audits, designed controls across identity, endpoint, email and data protection, and wrote policies and runbooks.
- October 2024 to June 2025
All Connected
Security Engineer
Worked across SOC/NOC operations, identity, infrastructure, endpoint management and multi-site networks. Automated repetitive identity and configuration work with PowerShell. Handled escalations, incident response and documentation.
- February to October 2024
Alexander Auto
IT Technician Intern
Supported day-to-day IT. Managed Active Directory access, tightened permissions, troubleshot the network and corrected a site-wide voice problem at the router.
- January 2022 to February 2024
Independent IT work
Independent IT Technician
Supported households and small businesses across Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, small-office networks, malware cleanup, data recovery and backups.
4Education and credentials
- Education
- B.S. Cybersecurity and Information Assurance, Western Governors University. Degree in progress; expected 2026.
- Earned certifications
- CompTIA PenTest+Security+Network+A+Project+
- Location and availability
- Southern California. Open to remote roles.

5Working together
Full-time AI implementation and technical solutions work is the priority. For small teams, my consulting focus is AI implementation readiness: clarifying the path from a prototype to an operating workflow.
A useful first conversation starts with the workflow, what it can access, what a correct result looks like, and who has to use it after the builder leaves.
